While at Squadron and in addition to her management duties, Judith worked in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings and corporate restructurings for large public companies such as News Corp. From New York, Hansen moved to Auckland, New Zealand, where she was employed by Brookfields Lawyers, further broadening her legal experience working in the local government and environmental management areas alongside and assisting some of New Zealand's leading government solicitors and advisers.

Hansen has enjoyed volunteer work including teaching creative dramatics summer workshops at Spring Valley Community Center, after-school tutoring for Kids At Heart and participating as a volunteer host and tour guide for the Pacific Rim Advisory Council meeting in San Diego 2007.
