Professional Background
I served as a law clerk to the Honorable Howard B. Turrentine, U.S. District Court, following graduation from the UCLA School of Law, where I served on the Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. I have practiced at Latham & Watkins ever since, handling a wide variety of commercial litigation matters. My mentor and teacher at Latham & Watkins was the late Joseph J. Wheeler.
While my practice has focused on trial practice, I have litigated cases and counseled clients in complex matters across a broad spectrum of subjects. I have also published and lectured on advanced intellectual property litigation, litigation management for in-house counsel, false advertising and unfair competition, electronic discovery and complex construction litigation.
