In the last 12 months, I have worked with a variety of wireless, technology and health care companies to raise significant capital financing, including VOCEL Inc., GlobalTel Media Inc., InterCasting Corp., Tapioca Mobile, AccentCare Inc. and Triton Pacific Capital.

I continue to counsel many technology companies and biotech companies with their strategic partnerships, licensing transactions, financing strategies and M&A activities, including transactions with major wireless carriers, large pharmaceuticals and various private equity groups. Clients include ezGDS Inc., Ivera Medical Corp., Plastics Engineering and Development Inc., HotHand Wireless, NewsForce Inc. and Angles BeautyCare Inc.

Professional Background

My practice focuses on a wide range of corporate and securities matters, including corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, venture financing, technology licensing and general business counseling. I have extensive experience with counseling public and private companies in the medical device, telecommunications, wireless, software and information technology industries in a broad range of transactional matters. I have represented clients in more than 200 mergers and acquisition transactions, investors and private companies in numerous private equity financings valued in excess of $200 million and clients in numerous securities offerings.

Professional Affiliations

I am a member of the American Bar Association, San Diego Bar Association and National Hispanic Bar Association. I am also a board member on the board of directors of the San Diego County Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the San Diego legal community that helps provide funding to various public service programs that deliver legal services.

Personal Affiliations

I am on the board of directors of the San Diego Asian Film Foundation (SDAFF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to upholding and sharing the diverse legacy of Asian Pacific Islanders through the media arts. The premiere event of the SDAFF is its eight-day annual film festival in October, during which thousands of patrons come out to experience films from around the world and connect with the artists who created them.
