I was also involved in a multi-country trademark counterfeiting action for the Gemological Institute of America against a ring of counterfeiters who were selling diamonds with counterfeit diamond grading reports. I am the only attorney in America who has been entrusted with the worldwide trademark portfolios of the two worldwide market leaders for breast implants, Mentor and Allergan/Inamed. Professional Background I am the managing partner of IP Legal Advisors PC, a firm that I founded nearly four years ago with only a handful of clients and less than 100 trademark matters. I am now responsible for more than 2,000 trademark matters worldwide and represent clients from virtually every major industry. Prior to founding IP Legal Advisors, I supervised the trademark department in the San Diego office of Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich (now DLA Piper).
