Professional Background Weaver is a partner and Chair of the Litigation Practice in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins. Weaver specializes in complex business litigation and trial practice. He has represented many corporate, banking and other professional clients, including nationally recognized corporations, accounting firms and prominent lawyers and law firms. Weaver also represents clients in the aerospace, high-tech and professional sports industries. He serves as a consultant to a number of national law firms on issues related to law firm management and claims avoidance, and has addressed various industry groups on legal malpractice issues. In July 2006, Weaver was selected to serve a three-year term as a member of the Advisory Board of the Ninth Circuit. Professional Affiliations Weaver is a member of the Executive Committee and a Master of the Bench of the Inn, American Inns of Court, Louis M. Welsh Chapter, and was a founding member of the Board of Governors of the San Diego Association of Business Trial Lawyers. He served as a Director of the California Supreme Court Historical Society for four years. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association, Panel of Arbitrators.
