Personal highlights of my career include: reuniting twin 9-year-old boys with their mother and maternal grandparents after they were removed from their mother’s custody due to her temporary incarceration; assisting a father in obtaining custody of his children upon the death of the children’s mother; and assisting a father in obtaining custody of his daughter after he had been deprived of his custodial rights due to false allegations of domestic violence. Professional Background I have been a Certified Family Law Specialist since 2002 and in 2005 was named as the Michael C. Shea Chair by the San Diego Certified Family Law Specialists. The Michael C. Shea Chair has been bestowed every year since 2002 on a Certified Family Law Specialist with superior ethics and dedication to teaching and mentoring family law attorneys. My practice encompasses all aspects of family law including divorce, paternity, adoption and premarital agreements. Personal Background I grew up in central Pennsylvania where I spent my time working in the family auto racing business. After graduating from college, I worked as a computer programmer for several years. Eventually, I migrated west to attend USD School of Law and made San Diego my home. I live in Rancho Bernardo with my husband and cat.
