It is the culmination of a lengthy peer voting process that began in February with the announcement of a call for nominations. San Diego County lawyers were asked who among their peers -- with whom they had professional experience -- were worthy of recognition.

I routinely represent clients who dispute the community (or separate) character of business, real estate and other investment assets. I represent clients whose cases require business valuations, often with multiple valuation dates. I frequently draft and litigate the validity of prenuptial agreements. Many of my cases involve coordination with civil, tax and estate planning counsel. Professional Background I began my legal career with a small general practice firm, trying civil and criminal cases (including participation on the “Court Appointed List” representing indigent criminal defendants). For approximately two years I managed the San Diego office of a commercial litigation firm. Since joining the firm of Beatrice L. Snider, APC in 1985, my primary focus has been Family Law. I am a shareholder in the Snider firm. Professional Affiliations Member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the Family Law section of SDCBA. I was on the committee that drafted the San Diego Local Rules for business valuations in domestic actions. Presenter at various programs sponsored by SDCBA, San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program and the Foothills Bar Association on evidence, pretrial motions and trial preparation. Organized two MCLE approved mock trial seminars for family law attorneys. I sit as Judge Pro Tem for settlement conferences for the San Diego Family Courts.
