Personal Background I was program coordinator at Centro Bautista, East Los Angeles, providing jobs for hard-core youth, later serving as Social Services Supervisor, Headstart. I was also a Freelance Writer and Advertising Copywriter for Los Angeles-based newspapers and magazines. I later worked as Manager for a large family-owned and operated disposal company, helping to supervise approximately 120 employees and with exclusive contracts with numerous cities. I enjoy playing guitar. I have been married for 19 years to wife Mary; we have three cats.
