As Facilitator, I manage the largest and most comprehensive Family Law Facilitator Program for the assistance of self-represented litigants in the state of California (20 attorneys, seven paralegals and six clerks), which is recognized as a model self-represented assistance program in this and other states. Professional Background Certified Family Law Specialist, 1993-present; Family Law “Norby Award” recipient, 1995; Pro Tem Judge Family Court; Adjunct Professor of Community Property, 1984 and 1988; co-author of “California’s Family Law Facilitator Program, A New Paradigm for the Courts” and author “Marriage of Burgess: The Supreme Court Disapproves A Decade of Appellate Analysis and Reasoning.” I have been a presenter on numerous panels for Judicial Council/AOC trainings, been a member of the Administrative Office of the Courts/Judicial Council Technical Assistance Teams on Family Law Case Flow Management and served on the Judicial Council Family and Juvenile Advisory Committee from 2004-present.
