Associate attorney Kimberly Kirkpatrick has been with the firm since graduating from law school in 2007. She was named a Top Young Attorney for 2009 by The Daily Transcript and granted membership into the prestigious Enright Chapter of the American Inns of Court. She earned her J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude. In addition to being selected for a Fellowship at the Center for Law and Technology, she was selected by the San Diego County Bar Association Family Law Specialists as the recipient of the Bonnie Reading Memorial Scholarship awarded to the outstanding law student planning a career in Family Law.
Kirkpatrick understands that when clients come to the firm, they are going through what is likely to be the most difficult situations they have ever faced. They are entrusting its attorneys with their children, their families, their most personal issues. She works to ensure that each client is treated as a person with unique needs and unique circumstances. Kirkpatrick tailors the legal strategy in each case to meet the needs and desires of each client.
Currently, Kirkpatrick is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Enright Inn of Court, the Foothills Bar Association, the USO, the National PTA and serves as court appointed for service members under the Service Members Civil Relief Act.
Kirkpatrick, her husband and their three young daughters reside in San Diego. They are avid boaters and active in local boating and sailing organizations. Kirkpatrick is active with the San Diego Chapter of the Make a Wish Foundation, the Armed Forces YMCA Wounded Warrior Cruise project and the U.S.S. Midway Foundation Stockings for the Troops project.
