Devin Storey joined The Zalkin Law Firm PC (formerly Zalkin & Zimmer LLP) in December 2004.

Since that time, he has handled a wide range of personal injury matters including product defect, wrongful death, medical malpractice and brain injury cases.
He has also zealously represented victims of childhood sexual abuse, obtaining remarkable results for the firm's clients. 

Storey has been one of the lead attorneys representing victims of sexual abuse by Catholic clergy in the statewide coordinated action entitled The Clergy Cases.
He has successfully briefed and argued motions affecting hundreds of plaintiffs in these complex matters, and successfully opposed a motion to publicly identify scores of victims of childhood sexual abuse who had otherwise been permitted to proceed anonymously.

Storey participated in negotiating the groundbreaking $198 million settlement of 144 clergy sexual abuse claims against the Roman Catholic Bishop of San Diego, and worked with a team of attorneys to secure the public release of thousands of pages of church documents relating to Catholic priests accused of abusing children in Southern California.

Storey continues to take a lead role in handling appeals throughout the state that involve legal issues affecting sexual abuse victims.

He has briefed and argued several appeals in various District Courts of Appeal, as well as before the Supreme Court of California.

He has won reversal of numerous trial court rulings, secured denial or writ petitions and obtained dismissal of multiple appeals. 

Storey has given his time to help victims of abuse obtain psychological care and counseling, and has worked with abuse victims to remove abusers from positions of authority where they had access to children. 

He has donated hundreds of hours of his time to help victims of childhood sexual abuse by filing amicus curiae briefs in the Supreme Court of California, as well as the First, Second and Third district courts of appeal.

Storey graduated magna cum laude from Whittier Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review and Moot Court Honors Board.

Prior to graduation, he interned with the California Department of Justice and the Law Office of Gordon G. Phillips.

Storey received his bachelor's from Long Beach State University in 2001. He has been recognized as a San Diego County Young Attorney by The Daily Transcript for three consecutive years.
