Raymond Y. Ryan Jr. is supervising attorney and lead trial attorney for the San Diego Injury Law Center. He has held this position since 2008, and has participated in 25 jury trials.
Previously, he was an associate attorney Daley & Heft LLP, a law clerk and then contract attorney at Casey Gerry Schenk Francavilla Blatt & Penfield LLP, and has also worked at the Family Law Facilitators Office in Chula Vista.
Ryan received his bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in political science focusing on Chinese politics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2005 and was admitted to the California state bar in 2006.
A native of Providence, R.I., Ryan worked at FedEx, Macy’s, and did house framing and painting in his hometown before he entered the legal field. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, has volunteered with the San Diego County Bar Association’s Neighborhood Clean-Up Project 2012. He also does pro bono small business assistance for friends in need.
