Professional Background
Teri O'Brien is an associate in Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP's Corporate Department and is a member of the firm's Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2003 and is resident in the San Diego Office. She has represented both public and private companies in the information technology, telecommunications, semiconductor, software and biotechnology industries in a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements of debt and equity securities, securities filings and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, O'Brien worked in the corporate group of the San Diego office of Cooley Godward LLP.
Before law school, O'Brien served as Controller for a manufacturing company in Los Angeles and as a senior auditor in the San Diego office of Deloitte & Touche LLP. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
