Coming from a foreign jurisdiction that statutorily requires a year spent as a "candidate attorney" before being allowed to practise, I applaud this measure. Quite honestly I find it peculiar that there is no internship for lawyers it's tantamount to allowing a medical graduate fresh out of law school perform Surgery alone on his first day after graduation!
