Temecula hosts Vendor Day July 10

The city of Temecula has invited all local businesses to stop by the Temecula Conference Center and register as a city vendor on July 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

City staff will be available throughout the day to assist with the registering process and to answer questions about the new Local Vendor Preference Ordinance that will take effect July 12.

"The city of Temecula understands that a strong local business community is vital to a healthy, well-rounded city and we are committed to growing our local business base," said Temecula Mayor Chuck Washington.

Any company looking to provide a good or service to the city must be a registered Vendor via PlanetBids.

"Local businesses are Temecula's foundation; we as a city, need to make every effort to do business and keep funds circulating locally," added Temecula Council Member Mike Naggar.

PlanetBids is an easy and free vendor registration process. The system provides a searchable online database of current bid opportunities in an easy to use, secure, and reliable environment.
