SpearHall lands new clients

San Diego-based advertising agency SpearHall announced the addition of Aviara Manor, Ediquete LLC (The WISP), Rosner Brown Touchstone & Keller, Watermiser and WorkCompFraudPrevention.com to its client roster.

Aviara Manor is a new state-licensed residential elder care facility in Carlsbad, and Ediquete LLC ó The Wisp was established with the mission to seek out and design products for the betterment of the game of golf. Ediquete's introductory product, The WISP, is a tool allowing players to clear sand from the golf putting green.

Rosner Brown Touchstone & Keller specializes in tax services, financial reporting, and business and financial consulting.

Watermiser, a company in water conservation products, was founded with the mission of devising and implanting innovative water solutions on a big scale.

WorkCompFraudPrevention.com aims to prevent workersí compensation fraud for employers around San Diego County.


Red Door listed as one of fastest-growing private companies

For the fifth consecutive year, Red Door Interactive has made Inc. Magazineís annual 5,000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America ó this year at No. 1,811.

Stalwart hires new program manager

Stalwart Communications recently hired Anna Keeve as its newest program manager. She will spearhead a multitude of initiatives, including content development, media relations, opportunity management and marketing/PR strategy.

Prior to joining Stalwart, Keeve was the director of membership at the University Club Atop Symphony Towers.


J Public Relations expands its crew

Hospitality PR agency J Public Relations has expanded its team in both its San Diego and New York offices.

JPRís newest director is Amy Ogden, who brings more than 10 years of experience in strategic PR campaigns, media relations and influencer outreach to the San Diego office. Kendall Trainer was recently named publicity assistant.

For the New York team, Amy Carlson is the new publicist, and Georgina McDonald serves as publicity assistant.

Council president to face Press Club forum

The San Diego Press Club is hosting its “Headliner” series on Sept. 7 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at KGTV, where featured guest San Diego City Council President Tony Young will meet a panel of City Hall reporters to review major city issues and discuss top headline news.

Young will update the audience on current and long-range city affairs, as well as field questions and engage with reporters.

Bring your questions, comments and smartphones to this press conference-style forum featuring topics such as council redistricting, pension reform, hybrid city hall complex, Convention Center expansion and other redevelopment projects, and even a Comic-Con parade.
