J. Walcher Communications adds to client roster

San Diego PR agency J. Walcher Communications has stacked its roster with five new clients and projects, including overseeing community relations for a messaging campaign that focuses on healthy behaviors related to nutrition and physical activity for The San Diego Childhood Obesity Initiative. The initial campaign will focus on the community of western Chula Vista with eventual expansion countywide.

J. Walcher will also work to promote Zephyr Partners, a local real estate development and investment company, and its new home, apartment and townhome communities that include: Mesa del Sol in La Mesa, Paseo La Jolla and Panorama Ridge II in Oceanside.

Additionally, the agency supported the Lung Cancer Alliance's San Diego annual Breath of Hope Lung Cancer Walk that took place April 22 and raises funds to fight the nation's leading cause of cancer deaths.

The communications agency is also working with The International Council on Systems Engineering, an association of system engineers, to increase membership and establish credibility and knowledge of the profession.

Finally, for a partnership of the two Pacific Northwest-based real estate development companies, Williams/Dame & Associates and American Life Inc., J. Walcher created, produced and publicized a launch event for the dual construction of two Marriott hotels in downtown Los Angeles.
