David Romero

As COO of Century 21 Award-Superstars, David Romero is responsible for all aspects of operations, including sales and management.

In Nov. 2004, Century 21 Award of San Diego merged with Superstars to cover three counties -- San Diego, Orange and Riverside -- in Southern California. Award-Superstars now encompasses 20 offices and 1,500 agents.

Romero says that the company is always in a "growth mode," looking for ways to expand in the region."We need to constantly look at mergers and acquisitions and different opportunities to make that happen," he noted.

To motivate and retain agents, Century 21 seeks to constantly educate them about the market and sales."We have a philosophy of ongoing learning. Because our agents are constantly learning and growing and getting better, they'll always want to be with us. That's our commitment -- to have the kind of environment where they can constantly learn."
