Stephen Doyle is president of the San Diego division of Brookfield Homes, a master-plan community builder operating in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. The company, headquartered in Del Mar, employs more than 140 people and is building new homes and master-planned communities in Carlsbad, San Diego, Chula Vista, San Marcos and Riverside County.
Doyle has served as president and director of the California Building Industry Association and as chairman of the executive committee. He is also active on local civic projects. He is a member of the Mayor's Smart Growth Implementation Committee and chaired the Finance Committee for San Diego's Affordable Housing Task Force. He volunteers his time to assist with youth sports and education programs in his community.
In 2005 Doyle was honored with the Spirit of Life Award -- the most prestigious honor presented on behalf of City of Hope -- which recognized him for his exceptional achievements as an industry leader and philanthropist.
