Todd Anson

While Cisterra Partners may not yet be a household name, what the company has built certainly is. And perhaps most importantly, the list of what Todd Anson, co-founder and managing member, has influenced outside the office is long as well.

Along with partner Steve Black, Cisterra is now developing DiamondView Tower, the first high rise in downtown's East Village -- and the first of its kind with prime stadium views. Other large development projects in San Diego include Intuit and Biogen Idec's award-winning campus in University City.

In line with his passion for sports, Anson's influences outside Cisterra range from University of San Diego football program fundraising and player job placement, to bringing minor league baseball to San Diego as an original owner of the Golden Baseball League and its San Diego Surf Dawgs.

Anson and Black were recognized as Ernst & Young's Entrepreneurs of the Year in 2003.
