The San Diego office of Cushman & Wakefield reports that with three new leases, Chancellor Park, a Class A office and medical park, continues to attract tenants in the University Town Center area of San Diego (92121). Leases recently inked total 11,787 square feet and $4.18 million in value. The project totals 195,953 square feet in two, four-story buildings. It is located at 4510 and 4520 Executive Dr. Chancellor Park also features an on-site deli, fitness center with showers and structured parking.
The first of 14 new buildings located at the Pacific Coast Business Park recently sold. The 5,244-square-foot building was purchased by MMG Enterprises for $681,720. The seller was AMB DFS Pacific Coast LLC.
There appears to be little argument over a second expansion of the San Diego Convention Center, but finding a way to pay for the $750 million-plus project is elusive.
General Growth Properties -- which owns the Otay Ranch Town Center and the Chula Vista Center, and filed the largest U.S. real estate bankruptcy in history earlier this year -- has reached an agreement with its lenders to restructure its debt.
