Construction is under way for the new 2,500-square-foot Aloha Motors auto dealership located at 1611 West Vista Way in Vista. Construction is scheduled for completion in December.
Situated on a 1.8-acre site just north of the 78 Freeway, the new Aloha Motors dealership includes a two-story sales office and a reconditioning shop. Its design incorporates a tropical motif to reinforce the company's Hawaiian theme.

The "Hawaiian plantation" architectural style of the building employs the use of unpainted corrugated metal awnings, vertical wood siding, lava rock veneer and tropical colors. The landscaping includes a variety of palms, banana plants and other tropical vegetation.
Smith Consulting Architects is serving as architect, with Tom Lamore as project architect and Gary Baker as designer. Taylor Construction is the general contractor for the project. Ken Taylor, owner of Taylor Construction, is serving as project manager.
HTK Engineering is serving as the structural engineer; Spear & Associates, civil engineer; Taylor Electric, electrical engineer; Slayton Mechanical, mechanical engineer; and Floyd & Howerton Plumbing Design, plumber. Steven M. Ahles Landscape Architecture is serving as the landscape architect
