Keeton Construction Co. Inc. has nearly completed construction for the new two-story, 54,305-square-foot addition to the existing Silvergate Retirement Residence, an assisted living facility, in Fallbrook.
Keeton Construction was retained by AmeriCare Health & Retirement for the construction and interior buildout of the $3.3 million facility. Nogle Onufer Associates served as the architect.
Situated on a 2.98-acre site, Silvergate Retirement Residence will house 36 residential units, including four two-bedroom units. Each unit will come equipped with a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and cabinetry, as well as its own patio or balcony. The wood-framed, lath and plaster building also will feature a two-story lobby with interior balconies. The construction project also will entail remodeling the dining facility and associated site work.
