As a sensitive female physician and surgeon, Nasrin Mani, M.D., founded and medically directs the La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic. As she herself ages, she understands firsthand people’s feelings regarding natural and graceful transformation techniques. She sets a shining example for women of all ages. It’s okay to want to “Look your best . . . morning, noon and night!” Dr. Mani’s goal in establishing the clinic is to create a safe haven for clients to learn about and experience the best in non-invasive, skin rejuvenation treatments and products.
As a Board Certified Ophthalmologist with sub-specialty in vitreo-retinal eye surgery, Nasrin Mani has chosen to bring her “gentle exacting touch” to create aesthetically pleasing results for her clients. She has drawn on over 18 years of experience to establish this state-of-the-art laser clinic. Nasrin has helped thousands of patients using lasers in the surgical treatment of eye conditions. Now she is applying her extensive knowledge to treat our largest organ, the skin. Nasrin Mani graduated from the Vanderbilt University Ophthalmology Program in 1986. She did her surgical fellowship at Doheny Eye Institute and University of Southern California. She then joined California Retina Associates. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), The American Society of Laser, Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), The San Diego County Medical Society and The Vitreous Society.
Nasrin Mani, M.D. is married to Darush Lawrence Mohyi, M.D., a gynecologist who specializes in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Their combined community involvement with the Children’s Foundation spans years of patient caring and financial contributions. The clinic also supports Kids Korps USA and local La Jolla schools.
